| The following tips will help you
maintain your equipment for the best performance possible, but if in
any doubt consult us.
1. Check your oil levels on a regular basis. Test the oil levels
by drawing out the dip stick, wipe, re-insert, and withdraw
carefully. Ensure that the oil is between the two guidelines, then
repeat.
2. It’s recommended you change the oil after the first 5-7 hours
use, and then after every 25 hours use.
3. Avoid tipping your mower sideways. When maintenance is
required under the mower tip the spark plug end of the engine
upwards.
4. Ensure that the air filter is clean, seated, and sealed.
5. Always use fresh unleaded petrol as it has a short lifespan.
If storing your equipment for more than 30 days consult your dealer
for advice.
6. Fuel oil mix (2 stroke machines only). Warning -
incorrect fuel mix can result in serious damage to your equipment.
Consult your dealer for fuel/oil mix ratio.
7. Take care of your battery by running your engine for at least
10 minutes each month.
8. Clean wet grass from under the deck and in the grass box after
use.
9. Have your equipment serviced every season or after every 25
hours of use. |
